Barbara and Rod’s daughter Anna has recently been out to Durban, South Africa as part of a team looking at various projects supported by Tear Fund’s partner churches and organisations in the townships surrounding the city, where there is a lot of extreme poverty.  In 2009 Tear Fund/Soul Survivor (Soul Action) intend to take over large numbers of 18 plus young people to help and support their work in these townships.  It is probable that many young people who will want to go will not be able to afford the airfares etc.  Barbara and Rod intend to continue to support the work of Tear Fund by donations from any sales of their work, specifically to help to enable these young people to ‘make a difference’ in Durban 2009.
